I just tuned in to HP Elite Dragonfly; a 2-in-1 business laptop that claims to have an all-day battery life. The device does give a feeling of being functional, strong, and cool; with the capability to hold on its own amidst the ever-crowded 2-in-1 market. HP has come up with this model keeping the flawless performance and portability in mind. The “mobility” factor has also been adhered to; as the device weighs not even a kilogram !
The keyboard actually stole my attention. It’s a chicklet style, spill-resistant, tenkeyless white LED backlight one. There are 4 levels of brightness therein. Moreover, the machine makes way for seamless glass precision touchpad. The biggest advantage, as stated above, is that even though it falls in the category of high-performance devices, it’s light to the extent of picking up just by two fingers.
The video content also could be stored to the maximum capacity. 475 GB of SSD storage says it all. The feature I liked on the other side; which also makes me close this review is that there is facial recognition (with Windows Hello) or fingerprint login available; which enables hands-free access.
Another feather in HP’s cap is that its Dragonfly is amongst the first laptops to adhere to Intel’s Project Athena specifications (a template that Intel has created for shaping subsequent generation of laptops). Overall, this is a product which I would recommend for a one-day travel; wherein charger could be kept at home !
